When I was featured on the Gooseberry Patch blog almost two years ago, they asked me what my 30 minute go-to meal was. My answer was shrimp scampi! Now I am an early bird reviewer, and we still have scampi a few times a month. It’s so yummy and simple, we love it. I really like to make a pasta to put under the shrimp, and this recipe from Meals in Minutes: 10th Anniversary Edition looked really easy. It was just the right thing to have with scampi!
Saute garlic (one of my favorite smells ever!)

 Pour garlic, oil over pasta

add bread crumbs and mix

 Top with shrimp.

Garlic Angel Hair Pasta
Gooseberry Patch
originally submitted by Terry Esposito, NJ

16oz package angel hair pasta (I used whole wheat)

7 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 C olive oil
1 1/3 C seasoned bread crumbs (I only used 1/2 cup, and it was plenty)
Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain. In a skillet over low heat, saute garlic in olive oil until golden. Pour garlic and oil over pasta; sprinkle with bread crumbs. Mix well; cover and let stand for 2 minutes before serving. Makes 8 servings.

I’m having so much fun reading all your go-to meals! Have you shared yours and entered my Gooseberry Patch giveaway yet? Hop on over, it’s open for a few more days!
