Hi, I'm Anna

the girl behind the blog
 Greetings friends,

My name is Anna Rendell. I am wife to Jared, mama to Sam (2011), Josie (2014), and Clara (2015). We live in the ‘burbs of Minnesota. I work from home as the Social Media Coordinator for (in)courage by DaySpring. I share here with simple honesty on the lovely & the difficult parts of mothering, family, and faith as if you & I were chatting in our backyards, over a picket fence. I write about my kids, faith, encouragement for women, being a work-at-home mom, products I adore, and recipes. I love: blogging in this space, chocolate, vintage things, Jesus, my family, baking, finding a great bargain, my pink kitchen tools, and James Taylor music. I love being involved in my local MOPS group, on our church’s faith formation team & as a worship leader.
– I am the Social Media Coordinator at (in)courage by DaySpring. Social media is more than ‘fun’ to me – it’s how I’ve made friends and built a business! I’d love to speak to your group or at your event!
– I’ve written two e-books and in 2016 I self-published my first print book {more about both books here}. I’ve been featured in several publications, compilations and books, and love using the written word as a means to encourage and equip.

– Encouraging to women and mamas is my heart. If your womens’ group is seeking an experienced  speaker to share words of real-life hope and encouragement, I’d love to connect with you.

– In this online space, I write honestly about the beauty and difficulties of faith, family and day-to-day life. I also post occasional recipes, book, event and product reviews. I am PR friendly and open to giveaways, reviews, sponsorships, etc. that are in line with my values.

– After journeying through 3yrs. of infertility and a miscarriage, our sweet baby Sam arrived in December 2011! Being a mama is more wonderful and more difficult than I ever imagined. After a second miscarriage, I became pregnant with our sweet Josie girl, and she arrived in April 2014. With no expectation of conceiving on our own, our third miracle – Clara Grace – arrived in November 2015. We are so grateful for our babies. If infertility and miscarriage have been in your path too, may you find a kindred spirit here.

– Our family loves Jesus. Jared and I are both former youth directors and Bible camp staff, now each working for faith-based companies. We now both work from home, which is both an incredible blessing and incredibly difficult.

I’m really glad you’re here.
